IN­DONE­SIA’S Pres­i­dent Joko Wi­dodo ap­pealed for calm yes­ter­day af­ter two sui­cide at­tack­ers un­leashed car­nage near a Jakarta bus sta­tion late Wed­nes­day, killing three po­lice­men in an as­sault au­thor­i­ties be­lieve was linked to the Is­lamic State group.

Six other of­fi­cers and five civil­ians were in­jured in the as­sault that left body parts and shattered glass strewn across the road.
