23 min­istries have reached at least 90pc of KPI tar­get, says Na­jib

EIGHT min­istries achieved 100 per cent in their key per­for­mance in­di­ca­tor (KPI) un­der the Min­istry Bu­mi­put­era Eco­nomic Em­pow­er­ment (PEB) pro­gramme last year, said Prime Min­is­ter Datuk Seri Na­jib Razak.

They are the Nat­u­ral Re­sources and En­vi­ron­ment Min­istry; Home Min­istry; For­eign Min­istry; Youth and Sports Min­istry; En­ergy, Green Tech­nol­ogy and Wa­ter Min­istry; Ru­ral and Re­gional De­vel­op­ment Min­istry; Science, Tech­nol­ogy and In­no­va­tion Min­istry; and Women, Fam­ily and Com­mu­nity De­vel­op­ment Min­istry.

Na­jib, who is also fi­nance min­is­ter, an­nounced the KPI achieve­ments af­ter chair­ing the Bu­mi­put­era Eco­nomic Coun­cil (MEB) meet­ing, the first since the launch of the Eco­nomic Trans­for­ma­tion Roadmap 2.0 and the Bu­mi­put­era Well­be­ing Trans­for­ma­tion (TKB) Plan on April 19 here yes­ter­day.
