30,200 pilgrims to perform haj this year
KUALA LUMPUR: Tabung Haji has announced that a total of 30,200 Malaysian pilgrims will perform the haj this year.
The first group would leave for Mecca by air on July 24, said Lembaga Tabung Haji chairman Datuk Abdul Azeez Abdul Rahim.
“All arrangements have been made and preparations are running smoothly, including sending offer letters to pilgrims.
“The pilgrims have also replied, stating their consent,” Azeez said after handing over two Exora Turbo 1.6 CVT Executive cars to the champions of the 60th Qari and Qariah Quranic Recitation and Memorisation Competition.
