Nurturing excellence holistically

-

THE Management & Science University (MSU) takes the holistic route to nurture well-rounded and employable graduates. To accomplish this aim, the university embarks on compelling learning experiences to transform both learning and lives.

MSU has sent students from its Department of Accounting and Finance at the Faculty of Business Management and Professional Studies (FBMP) to a Philippine edition of the MSU’s Global Leadership Programme (GLP).

The students presented joint research papers at the International Perspective on Accounting, Finance and Business Research Seminar at the University of Santo Tomas (UST) in Philippines.

They have also benefited from their exposure to the latest global trends in accountancy, finance and management.

Together with fellow undergraduates from the UST-AMV College of Accountancy, they gained new knowledge in business research as well as in case study, report writing and publishing.

UST is a smart partner of MSU in developing programmes that empower knowledge sharing between staff and students of both universities.

The visiting MSU-rians also extended their GLP opportunity into a community engagement activity in Manila by visiting the Blue Mosque, a landmark in Taguig city, and the Cultural Center in Maharlika Village to contribute prayer rugs and veils, as well as cash.

MSU is one of Malaysia's top universities, with a focus on developing and delivering quality human capital in national and global critical-need areas.

It includes Medicine, Health Sciences, Pharmacy, Information Sciences, Engineering, Business Management and Professional Studies, Education and Social Sciences, Hospitality and Culinary, as well as Music and Fashion.

The award-winning home-grown study programmes of the university meet stringent standards set by both local and international bodies.

Accreditors include the Malaysian Qualifications Agency (MQA), the United Kingdom’s Accreditation Service for International Colleges (ASIC) and Japan’s Alliance on Business Education and Scholarship for Tomorrow (ABEST21).

MSU was also accorded “Excellent Status University” twice on the national universityrating system, SETARA, and The Most Entrepreneurial Private University 2016 by the Higher Education Ministry.

Recently, MSU was also awarded the BrandLaureate Best Brand in Education for Leadership and Human Capital Development 2017.

In an international rating exercise undertaken by Quacquarelli Symonds (QS), MSU received Five Star ratings for Teaching, Employability, Facilities, Social Responsibility and Inclusiveness.
