NSTP supports ‘1 family-1 home’ goal
ALOR STAR: The New Straits Times Press (M) Bhd is committed to supporting the growth of Kedah’s property sector and its aim of fulfilling the state government’s “one family-one home” aspiration.
Its chief executive officer, Datuk Abdul Jalil Abdul Hamid, said the Kedah property market outlook was upbeat following the completion of the Ipoh-Padang Besar electrified double track project.
Jalil said the advanced Electric Train Service (ETS) and Komuter services had enabled people to work and live across the states in the northern region.
“The enhanced transportation systems such as ETS and Komuter services act as a catalyst for property sector growth in southern Kedah up to Alor Star.
“We are looking at an increasing trend of people who are working in Penang looking for affordable homes in Sungai Petani and even Alor Star.
“The NSTP MyRumah Property Showcase 2017 is a manifestation of our commitment to connecting potential buyers and the developers to tap into the growing property market in Kedah,” said Jalil.
The property showcase, open from 10am to 10pm, features nine prominent developers — Aman Setia Group, Belleview Group, Bina Darulaman Bhd, Irama Jaya Group, Oriental Interest Group, OSK Property Group, Paramount Properties, Sunsuria Bhd and SPNB Aspirasi Sdn Bhd.
