Duo roar­ing for crowns

MALAYSIA’S Mi­rage Khan and Keng Fai Hui will fight in The Roar of Sin­ga­pore III on Oct 20 at the Sun­tec Con­ven­tion and Ex­hi­bi­tion Cen­tre.

The In­ter­na­tional Box­ing Or­gan­i­sa­tion bout was con­firmed by fight pro­moter Ringstart Man­age­ment.

There will be two ad­di­tional ti­tle fights, New Zealan­der (5-1-2) Chase Ha­ley de­fend­ing his IBO Ocea­nia Light Heavy­weight ti­tle against Mi­rage (8-6-2) over 10 rounds.

The fi­nal IBO ti­tle fight on the nine-fight card will see IBO Asi­aPa­cific cham­pion Fai Hui (3-0) chal­leng­ing In­done­sia’s Rocky Irawan Sikum­bang (6-2) for the va­cant IBO Ocea­nia Wel­ter­weight ti­tle.

Mean­while, Sin­ga­porean Muhamad Rid­hwan Ah­mad will head to May­weather train­ing camp in Las Ve­gas as prepa­ra­tion for his IBO In­ter­con­ti­nen­tal Su­per Feath­er­weight ti­tle fight against South African Koos Sibiya.

The 30-year-old will spend 26 days in in­ten­sive train­ing at the May­weather Box­ing Club, founded by Floyd May­weather Sr and Roger, where he will un­dergo twice-daily rou­tine of spar­ring, pad work and heavy bag en­durance. Farah Azharie
