Duo roaring for crowns
MALAYSIA’S Mirage Khan and Keng Fai Hui will fight in The Roar of Singapore III on Oct 20 at the Suntec Convention and Exhibition Centre.
The International Boxing Organisation bout was confirmed by fight promoter Ringstart Management.
There will be two additional title fights, New Zealander (5-1-2) Chase Haley defending his IBO Oceania Light Heavyweight title against Mirage (8-6-2) over 10 rounds.
The final IBO title fight on the nine-fight card will see IBO AsiaPacific champion Fai Hui (3-0) challenging Indonesia’s Rocky Irawan Sikumbang (6-2) for the vacant IBO Oceania Welterweight title.
Meanwhile, Singaporean Muhamad Ridhwan Ahmad will head to Mayweather training camp in Las Vegas as preparation for his IBO Intercontinental Super Featherweight title fight against South African Koos Sibiya.
The 30-year-old will spend 26 days in intensive training at the Mayweather Boxing Club, founded by Floyd Mayweather Sr and Roger, where he will undergo twice-daily routine of sparring, pad work and heavy bag endurance. Farah Azharie
