KUALA LUMPUR: RHB Bank Bhd is targeting 20,000 unique visitors and 500 new clients for its recently-introduced SME Banking Portal by the year-end.

The banking portal, the first of its kind in the market, is an online portal that provides small and medium enterprise (SME) clients with quick access to information and products relevant to their businesses.

The list of features includes account application, loan/financing application, product information on SMEs, an SME Knowledge Centre and tools to help make informed decisions. SMEs can also get up-to-date market insights and treasury reports, as well as other pertinent information as well.

“In line with RHB’s Digital Transformation, the RHB SME Banking Portal was designed for us to reach out to SMEs,” said RHB Bank group business and transaction banking head Datin Amy Ooi.

“Our SME clients can access information at the tip of their fingers on SME products and will be able to submit their applications for a current account without the hassle of going to our branches,” she said.

RHB was also offering preferential rates to clients who have successfully applied for a current account online for limited time,” added Ooi.
