LNG Canada eyes final decision next year

New Straits Times - - Business -

LNG Canada, a joint venture led by Royal Dutch Shell Plc, is aiming for an investment decision next year on building a liquefied natural gas (LNG) export terminal on British Columbia’s coast, said chief executive Andy Calitz on Thursday. He said work on the C$40 billion (RM136 billion) project was active and has not been slowed by Petroliam Nasional Bhd’s decision to scrap its project in the Western Canadian province, nor by a recent change in provincial government.
