Dol­lah sus­pen­sion to be re­duced

FA of Malaysia (FAM) pres­i­dent Tunku Is­mail Sul­tan Ibrahim has in­di­cated that Pa­hang coach Dol­lah Salleh’s sus­pen­sion will be re­duced from 18 to five months.

Tunku Is­mail said the na­tional body’s ap­peals com­mit­tee is look­ing into it.

“Dol­lah will be sus­pended for only five months un­til De­cem­ber. I think the fine of RM30,000 im­posed on Dol­lah will also be re­duced.

“As for now, he can still coach his team, but he can­not sit on the bench dur­ing matches,” said Tunku Is­mail dur­ing Mon­day’s “Face Off ” fo­rum in Jo­hor Baru.

Dol­lah was sus­pended for 18 months and fined RM30,000 by FAM re­cently for crit­i­cis­ing the qual­ity of ref­er­ee­ing af­ter the Su­per League match be­tween Pa­hang and Felda on July 1. Fir­daus Hashim
