KUALA LUMPUR: Malaysia Airports Holdings Bhd (MAHB) is digitalising its local airports under the Airports 4.0 Vision.

It was designed to create an integrated seamless end-to-end journey for the customers, said MAHB chief strategy officer Azli Mohamed.

He said MAHB had formed a big data analytics through an 18-month journey, while identifying potential tools to enhance its operational efficiency and productivity.

“We have partnered with an application software provider, SAP, for the next phase of MAHB’s digital transformation,” said Azli after the Asian Innovators Summit 2017, here, yesterday.

Azli said the digital transformation allowed the airport operator to improve operational processes, manage revenue leakages and handle asset management.

“We are now focusing on KLIA (Kuala Lumpur International Airport) and klia2 Kuala Lumpur International Airport 2) in bringing down costs,” he said.

MAHB operates 39 airports that vary in terms of sizes and capabilities nationwide. Ayisy Yusof
