Caterer to VIP dies

KUALA LUMPUR: Kuzie Cater­ing owner Datuk Raja Rosly Raja Ma­zlan, bet­ter known as Pak Engku, died from di­a­betes and kid­ney com­pli­ca­tions last night.

Raja Rosly, who was 58, died at 9.10pm at the Darul Eh­san Med­i­cal Cen­tre in Shah Alam, Se­lan­gor.

His el­dest son, Raja Muham­mad Da­nial,

21, said his fa­ther was ad­mit­ted to the hospi­tal two days ago and his con­di­tion wors­ened last night.

Raja Da­nial said his fa­ther’s body had been taken back to their house in Shah Alam.

“My fa­ther will be buried at Makam DiRaja Shah Alam to­mor­row morn­ing (to­day),” he said.

Raja Rosly was sur­vived by his wife Datin Ramziah Samah, and three chil­dren.

He had pro­vided food cater­ing ser­vice to prom­i­nent peo­ple, in­clud­ing Prime Min­is­ter Datuk Seri Na­jib Razak.

Kuzie Cater­ing has also been the choice of for­eign dig­ni­taries and celebri­ties to cater for their events, such as wed­dings and open houses.

Celebri­ties such as Datuk Siti Nurhal­iza, Ning Baizura, Yusry Ab­dul Halim and Lisa Suri­hani, Irma Has­mie and Awal Ashaari count among the celebri­ties who have booked cater­ing ser­vices from Raja Rosly.
