Next Bikes aug­ments Du­cati lineup

Bikes Sdn Bhd, the sole im­porter and dis­trib­u­tor of Du­cati bikes in Malaysia, an­nounced two new en­try level vari­ants to their lineup.

The Du­cati Mul­tistrada 950 and the Du­cati Mon­ster 797 are priced at RM85,900 and RM55,900, re­spec­tively, in­clu­sive of the Goods and Ser­vices Tax (GST).

The Mul­tistrada is aimed pri­mar­ily at cus­tomers who want to tour.

Pow­ered by a 937cc Tes­tas­tretta en­gine pump­ing out 113hp at 9,000rpm and 96.2Nm at 7,750rpm, the base Mul­tistrada fea­tures four rid­ing modes (Tour­ing, Sport, Ur­ban and En­duro).

The Mul­tistrada also comes with class-lead­ing main­te­nance in­ter­vals of 15,000km or 12 months, and valve clear­ance in­spec­tion in­ter­vals of 30,000km.

The Du­cati Mon­ster 797, on the other hand, is pow­ered by a air­cooled L-twin en­gine pro­duc­ing 75hp at 8,250rpm.

It is equipped with Bosch ABS as stan­dard and a pair of 320mm Brembo dics gripped by Brembo M4.32 ra­dial calipers.
