Next Bikes augments Ducati lineup

Bikes Sdn Bhd, the sole importer and distributo­r of Ducati bikes in Malaysia, announced two new entry level variants to their lineup.

The Ducati Multistrad­a 950 and the Ducati Monster 797 are priced at RM85,900 and RM55,900, respective­ly, inclusive of the Goods and Services Tax (GST).

The Multistrad­a is aimed primarily at customers who want to tour.

Powered by a 937cc Testastret­ta engine pumping out 113hp at 9,000rpm and 96.2Nm at 7,750rpm, the base Multistrad­a features four riding modes (Touring, Sport, Urban and Enduro).

The Multistrad­a also comes with class-leading maintenanc­e intervals of 15,000km or 12 months, and valve clearance inspection intervals of 30,000km.

The Ducati Monster 797, on the other hand, is powered by a aircooled L-twin engine producing 75hp at 8,250rpm.

It is equipped with Bosch ABS as standard and a pair of 320mm Brembo dics gripped by Brembo M4.32 radial calipers.
