TENOM: Sabahans must remain united against politics of hatred, which could lead to disunity and unrest in the state, Umno vicepresident Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Hussein said.

He said such a divisive political approach employed by the opposition in Sabah would in turn victimise the people.

He added that perpetrators of hatred politics also included those who had served in the government.

“If Sabah’s security is gambled away, innocent Sabahans will be victimised, similar to what had happened in the Middle East and some countries,” Hi s h a mmuddin said after opening the Zone 4 Umno Wanita, Youth and Puteri delegates’ meetings here yesterday.

Zone 4 covers Keningau, Tenom, and Pensiangan Umno divisions.
