FAST FACTS ON ILSM

Sits on a 16.18ha piece of land in Sungkai, Perak.

ILSM started operations in 2012 with over 50 trainers and can accommodate up to 500 participants at one time. Facilities include lecture halls, computer labs, hostel, library, meeting rooms and sports facilities.

ILSM has organised 389 internal, 5 international, and 2 customised courses; 114 workshops and 105 programmes under 1MTC, with 23,031 participants. To boost efforts by the government to optimise results through data analysis following the big data phenomenon, ILSM is committed to organising modern, comprehensive, and quality learning packages in economy, social and demography statistics, methodology and research; as well as information technology and geospatial. The first international course held at ILSM was in 2013 in collaboration with organisations under the United Nations and Asean.
