Sits on a 16.18ha piece of land in Sungkai, Perak.

ILSM started operations in 2012 with over 50 trainers and can accommodat­e up to 500 participan­ts at one time. Facilities include lecture halls, computer labs, hostel, library, meeting rooms and sports facilities.

ILSM has organised 389 internal, 5 internatio­nal, and 2 customised courses; 114 workshops and 105 programmes under 1MTC, with 23,031 participan­ts. To boost efforts by the government to optimise results through data analysis following the big data phenomenon, ILSM is committed to organising modern, comprehens­ive, and quality learning packages in economy, social and demography statistics, methodolog­y and research; as well as informatio­n technology and geospatial. The first internatio­nal course held at ILSM was in 2013 in collaborat­ion with organisati­ons under the United Nations and Asean.
