Aussie gets life for child sex abuse
MANILA: An Australian man has been jailed for the rest of his natural life as part of a child sexual abuse case that prosecutors say he chained victims like dogs. Peter Scully faces another trial and dozens more charges, including allegations he made child pornography and murdered a girl. He was convicted on Wednesday of trafficking and rape. The Cagayan de Oro court sentenced Scully and his Filipina partner to life in prison without parole and fined five million pesos (RM374,500) for trafficking Filipina girls then aged 10 and 12.
