MUKHRIZ HEADS KE­LAN­TAN AWARDS LIST

602 to be hon­oured

KEDAH Men­teri Be­sar Datuk Seri Mukhriz Ma­hathir heads a list of 602 re­cip­i­ents of state awards and medals in con­junc­tion with Sul­tan of Ke­lan­tan Sul­tan Muham­mad V’s 49th birth­day to­day.

State Sec­re­tary Datuk Nazran Muham­mad said Mukhriz was among three re­cip­i­ents of the Dar­jah Kebe­saran Jiwa Mahkota Ke­lan­tan Yang Amat Mu­lia (SJMK), which car­ries the ti­tle Datuk.

He said the other two are Kota Baru mem­ber of par­lia­ment Datuk Takiyud­din Has­san and Rohm Wako Cor­po­ra­tion chair­man Datuk Yo­suke Yosh­ioka.

Nazran said Re­gent of Ke­lan­tan Dr Tengku Muham­mad Faiz Petra would present the award at the investiture at Is­tana Balai Be­sar here.

He said the investiture would be separated into two days, with 205 re­cip­i­ents re­ceiv­ing their awards to­day and the oth­ers on March 4.

He said two fire­fight­ers who drowned look­ing for a teenager in Pu­chong, Se­lan­gor, on Oct 3, would re­ceive the Pin­gat Bakti (PB).

They were Izatul Akma Wan Ibrahim and Muham­mad Hifdzul Ma­lik Shaari.

Air Force chief Gen­eral Tan Sri Af­fendi Buang is the sole re­cip­i­ent of the Dar­jah Kebe­saran Ke­sate­ria Mahkota Ke­lan­tan Yang Amat Perkasa (SPKK), which car­ries the ti­tle Datuk.

Among those who will re­ceive the Dar­jah Kebe­saran Se­tia Mahkota Ke­lan­tan Yang Amat Ter­bilang (SPSK) award, which car­ries the ti­tle Datuk, are Shah Alam High Court judges Datuk Az­man Husin and Datuk Mohd Yazid Mustafa.

Univer­siti Malaysia Ke­lan­tan Vice-Chan­cel­lor Pro­fes­sor Datuk Hu­saini Omar, Wildlife and Na­tional Parks Depart­ment di­rec­tor-gen­eral Datuk Ab­dul Kadir Abu Hashim and Bukit Aman man­age­ment deputy di­rec­tor Datuk Zainal Abu are among five who will re­ceive the Dar­jah Kebe­saran Mahkota Ke­lan­tan Yang Amat Mu­lia (DPMK), which car­ries the ti­tle Datuk.

Six will be awarded the Dar­jah Kebe­saran Jiwa Mahkota Ke­lan­tan Yang Amat Mu­lia (DJMK), which car­ries the ti­tle Datuk. They in­clude Ke­lan­tan ex­ec­u­tive coun­cil­lor Azami Mohd Nor and Ulama com­mit­tee mem­ber Ab­dul Hayei Ab­dul Sukor.

Fifteen will get the Dar­jah Kebe­saran Se­tia Mahkota Ke­lan­tan Yang Amat Ter­bilang (DPSK), which car­ries the ti­tle Datuk. They in­clude Ke­lan­tan fi­nance of­fi­cer Ahmad Robert Abd Rahim, for­mer Ke­lan­tan Malaysian An­tiCor­rup­tion Com­mis­sion di­rec­tor Datuk Moh Sam­sudin Yu­sof and Raja Perem­puan Zainab II Hospi­tal di­rec­tor Dr Se­la­sawati Ghaz­ali.

Cus­toms Depart­ment deputy di­rec­tor-gen­eral Dr Zulke­fli Ibrahim, Bukit Aman Com­mer­cial Crime In­ves­ti­ga­tion Depart­ment deputy di­rec­tor (strate­gic plan­ning) Se­nior As­sis­tant Com­mis­sioner Rusli Mohd Noor and Pe­nang deputy po­lice chief Datuk Roslee Chik will get the Dar­jah Kebe­saran Jasa Mahkota Ke­lan­tan Yang Amat Se­tia (DPJK), which car­ries the ti­tle Datuk.
