New QR Code system to verify court documents

PUTRAJAYA: The Office of the Chief Registrar of the Federal Court yesterday launched the QR Code Scanning System which allows the public to verify the authentici­ty of court documents. The system can be used for court documents generated and filed through the e-judiciary system at 22 court locations in the peninsula. Among the courts involved are those located in Kuala Lumpur, Shah Alam, Selayang, Klang, George Town, Butterwort­h, Johor Baru, Muar, Ipoh, Taiping, Putrajaya, Kangar, Alor Star, Sungai Petani, Melaka, Seremban, Kuantan, Temerloh, Kuala Terengganu, Kota Baru, Langkawi and the Kuala Lumpur City Hall.
