New QR Code system to verify court documents

PUTRAJAYA: The Office of the Chief Registrar of the Federal Court yesterday launched the QR Code Scanning System which allows the public to verify the authenticity of court documents. The system can be used for court documents generated and filed through the e-judiciary system at 22 court locations in the peninsula. Among the courts involved are those located in Kuala Lumpur, Shah Alam, Selayang, Klang, George Town, Butterworth, Johor Baru, Muar, Ipoh, Taiping, Putrajaya, Kangar, Alor Star, Sungai Petani, Melaka, Seremban, Kuantan, Temerloh, Kuala Terengganu, Kota Baru, Langkawi and the Kuala Lumpur City Hall.
