PORT­FO­LIO Dior Homme is tak­ing its high fash­ion brand to un­con­ven­tional heights.

First teased in an In­sta­gram post by artis­tic di­rec­tor Kris Van Ass­che, the Dior Homme BMX bike takes the high fash­ion brand down to the rugged ur­ban streets. A col­lab­o­ra­tion with Paris-based BMW man­u­fac­turer Bog­a­rde Bikes, the cou­ture bike is sleek, slim and el­e­gant – the same sil­hou­ette that char­ac­terises Dior Homme on the run­way.

The Dior Homme BMX bi­cy­cle de­buts this month in Dubai, with a global launch in key bou­tiques rolling out across the world on 20 De­cem­ber. This move to em­brace adren­a­line, even in a chic form, might be sur­pris­ing, but this new di­rec­tion by Van Ass­che was not un­her­alded; Dior Homme launched the knit­ted B21 sneaker in Oc­to­ber and, reach­ing fur­ther out to the streets, plans to un­veil branded skate­boards next year. dior.com ≠
