Pantzar built up her sisu by plung­ing in Fin­land’s frigid wa­ters, but an icy 30-sec­ond blast in the shower may do too. “Plus, cold wa­ter trig­gers the re­lease of en­dor­phins and other mood boost­ers,” she ex­plains.
