Def­i­nitely the fun din­ing menu, a tast­ing menu con­sist­ing of 12 small dishes that’s out of this world.

From the test tube con­tained liq­uid amuse bouche to starters of lomi lomi sal­mon and prawn siu mai, each dish is a unique in­ter­pre­ta­tion of its wun­derkind chef, Jeff Ram­sey. More flavour­ful, artsy fare fol­lows: The two-pronged kan­pachi noo­dles; a light, fruity and re­fresh­ing palate cleanser of ed­i­ble mai tai; air­bread crab mousse and toro; steak sandwich fea­tur­ing bread made from tomato wa­ter; the in­ge­nious duck and coke; the straight­for­ward un­agi sun­choke; and the braised abura bouzo.

The Kagoshima A5 sukiyaki must be the jewel in this tast­ing menu’s crown as the melt-in-your-mouth Wagyu is served with chrysan­the­mum leaves and eringi mush­rooms. The fol­low­ing ‘lie-mau’ dish sports an in­ter­est­ing visual il­lu­sion.

A sweetly sat­is­fy­ing de­con­structed straw­berry short­cake rounds out the one of a kind gas­tro­nomic jour­ney.
