If you’re here for dinner, the 15-Mile Journey tasting menu is a delightful culinary expedition. It starts with a flavourful trio of appetisers – a savoury cracker, dehydrated sambal-topped meringue and a spoonful of porridge.

Dishes like the umami and marina provide bursts of balanced flavours while the Tales of Musa sees the humble banana prepared in a variety of inventive ways. The Burma Bazar is a small serving of noodle soup that teases the palate and moves the journey along.

Moving on to mains, an intense curry flavour profile is the focal point of the delicious and aromatic small lamb cutlet with curry leaf soot. Next comes the Nomad’s globe, interestingly presented in a multi-tiered globe. From the tiers, the salad is light and refreshing, the chicken vermicelli is a hearty offering, and the green curry with quail’s egg a fantastic addition.

Two desserts are served, but the chilli ice cream with a bed of mildly sweet white chocolate is the winner.
