WHY GO

-

Experience the personal touch of the head chef and sous chef as you partake of their delicious creations in this affable Japanese restaurant.

Definitely go with the omakase course, which features a diverse selection of the chef’s choice dishes including sashimi, nigiri, sushi rolls, appetisers, palate cleansers and dessert. Standout dishes from the course is the Hokkaido oyster and the ark shell nigiri. Of note is the rice texture of the nigiri which is firm and sports good cohesiveness with a hint of vinegar for extra flavour. Another appetite pleasing course is the seasonal nigiri, featuring appetisers, 10 pieces of nigiri, sushi rolls and soup.

Sushi Azabu’s menu is diverse and changes seasonally to accommodate the freshest cuts of fish. The chutoro and otoro cuts are some of the best that you can find in Malaysia with its high-grade marbling of muscle and fat adding to the smooth and viscous texture of the fish. There is even availability of seasonal exotic fish such as loaches which are typically only found at fish markets in Japan.
