KUALA LUMPUR: TPM Biotech Sdn Bhd has targeted to achieve a 30 per cent business growth within the next two to five years through a wider and aggressive domestic and regional outreach programme.

TPM Biotech Head Ema Ukhtiah Zakaria said by adopting a more aggressive approach towards reaching out domestically and regionally, it would enable the company to help create greater awareness and accelerate the growth of entrepreneurs in the biotechnology sector.

“The outlook for herbalbased biotechnology products continuously remains strong at both local and global markets levels. It is for this reason that we want to strengthen and sustain our foothold in the market by promoting our Herbs Gardens range of products at BioMalaysia 2017.

“We are confident that this exhibition will give us an opportunity to reach out to a wider audience target both domestically and regionally,” she said in a statement yesterday.

Ema said it would also provide the necessary platform to promote the wide range of internationally benchmarked facilities and services that TPM Biotech has to offer existing and potential enterprises in biotechnology.

The TPM Biotech Herbs Garden range of products are locally manufactured at its factory in Raub, Pahang.

The facility is fully equipped with machinery and equipment capable of offering contract manufacturing to small and medium enterprises.

“Working closely with our customers, we ass is tb io pr en eu rs by offering advisory and counselling, incubation facilities and services, commercialisation of products, contract manufacturing and also developing strategies to maximise their return on investment.

“Customers can be assured of the highest product quality as commitment to excellence, international practices and processes, and stringent quality controls in meeting highest level of international standards have always been our forte,” she said.

Ema said another distinct advantage of TPM Biotech was its highly advanced science laboratory which was equipped with the latest technologies for halal analysis and verification.

TPM Biotech’s facility in Pahang has earned Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) status, accorded by the Ministry of Health’s National Pharmaceutical Control Bureau.

TPM Biotech, a subsidiary of Technology Park Malaysia Corporation Sdn Bhd, has earned internationally recognised accreditations with ISO9001:2008 and IEC 17025 certifications.

In addition, its functional food processing area is a HACCP accredited facility.
