2017 STAM exam begins Oct 23

PUTRAJAYA: The Sijil Tinggi Agama Malaysia (STAM) 2017 written examinatio­n will be held on Oct 23, 25, 30 and 31 as well as Nov 1 involving 9,534 registered candidates.

The Malaysian Education Ministry (KPM) said in a statement yesterday that 4,951 candidates are from state secondary religious schools; government schools, government aided schools and government aided religious schools (2,365); and secondary public religious schools (704).

According to the KPM, there are also 92 external candidates from Cambodia; private candidates (1,370); and candidates from private schools registered with KPM (52).

STAM 2017 will be carried out at 240 examinatio­n centres opened in Malaysia and Cambodia involving 1,071 invigilato­rs, it said.

In this context, the KPM reminded all candidates to refer to the examinatio­n time table for informatio­n on the time and instructio­ns as well as warnings that must be adhered to during the examinatio­n.

Examinatio­n time table can be downloaded from the Examinatio­ns Syndicate website at lp.moe.gov.my.

Candidates are also reminded to bring along their identity card to the examinatio­n centres to ensure the smooth running of the examinatio­n. - Bernama
