Housewife denies preventing cop from inspecting her house

KOTA KINABALU: A housewife claimed trial in the Magistrate’s Court here yesterday to a charge of preventing a lance corporal from conducting inspection at her house regarding alleged car theft case.

Khoo Shor Lang, 34, who appeared before magistrate Afiq Agoes, was accused of obstructing the policeman from carrying out his job at an apartment in Penampang at 5am on July 3.

The court fixed July 26 for her case management and released her on RM2,200 bail with one local surety, pending disposal of the case.
