Rafizi wins by three votes in Keningau PKR re-elec­tion

KOTA KINABALU: The un­of­fi­cial re­sults of the PKR re-elec­tion for the Keningau divi­sion yes­ter­day saw deputy pres­i­dent can­di­date Mohd Rafizi Ramli win­ning over Datuk Seri Mo­hamed Azmin Ali by three votes.

In the re-elec­tion held at the Keningau Sports Com­plex, Mohd Rafizi who is PKR’s vice-pres­i­dent get­ting 624 votes while Azmin who is the in­cum­bent for the post of PKR deputy pres­i­dent ob­tained 621 votes.

The re­sults were an­nounced by re­turn­ing of­fi­cer of the Keningau divi­sion elec­tion cen­tre Su­raya Muiz­zudin at about 6.15 p.m yes­ter­day.

The re-elec­tion process for the divi­sion which used the on­line sys­tem, be­gan at 9 a.m. and ended at 4.14 p.m. and was con­ducted in a peace­ful man­ner.

A to­tal of 2,735 of 6,441 PKR mem­bers in the Keningau divi­sion voted. - Ber­nama
