Res­i­dents in flood prone Batu Ki­tang ad­vised to take pre­cau­tion

KUCHING: Res­i­dents of ar­eas around Batu Ki­tang have been ad­vised to take pre­cau­tion and stay safe, in view of the heavy rain­fall ex­pe­ri­enced in the city of late.

The wa­ter level at Batu Ki­tang area was high and the river was fast flow­ing. The wa­ter had cov­ered the road in some of the ar­eas and some of the res­i­dents had to move their cars out for safety. Mok Hui Chung, PKR Stampin branch deputy youth chief
