Sem­i­nar to fo­cus on com­mu­ni­ca­tion with chil­dren

SIBU: The youth wing of Sibu United Chi­nese As­so­ci­a­tion will hold a sem­i­nar on ‘ How to com­mu­ni­cate with the chil­dren’s sub­con­scious’ at three dif­fer­ent venues to­day.

Event or­gan­is­ing chair­man Tar Sing Hui said the fi rst ses­sion will be held at SM Wong Nai Siong at 10am.

The se­cond ses­sion is at SM Catholic at 11 am.

In the evening, the third ses­sion will be held at UCA premises in Alan Road at 7pm.

Tar said the sem­i­nar is open to all, and par­ents as well as those in the ed­u­ca­tion sec­tor are es­pe­cially wel­come.

The fa­cil­i­ta­tor is Ong Boo Siong, a prac­ti­tioner from the Na­tional Fed­er­a­tion of Neuro Lin­guis­tic- is free of Pro­gram­ming (NLP).

Tar said the aim is to as­sist chil­dren in dis­cov­er­ing their tal­ents and pre­pare them to set their own fu­ture di­rec­tion.

“Un­like yesteryears, chil­dren th­ese days are more in­quis­i­tive but lack the study­ing abil­ity. The sem­i­nar aims to dis­cover their po­ten­tial and hid­den tal­ent,” he said.

The or­gan­is­ing com­mit­tee of the sem­i­nar.
