Motorcyclist killed after being run over by lorry
SARATOK: A man was killed in an accident at Jalan Ulu Lun, about 5km from here, late Sunday.
It is believed that the 21-year- old motorcyclist was heading here from Sarikei when he collided with a lorry close to midnight, before being run over by the heavy vehicle.
The man was killed on the spot. Upon receiving a distress call at 12.39am, eight members of Saratok Fire and Rescue Department were rushed to the scene.
It took them about 15 minutes to extricate the man from the mangled motorcycle, which was under the lorry.
The body had been handed over to police.
