Ex-Form 6 students share their success
KUCHING: SMK Muara Tuang recently held a forum ‘Jejak Gemilang’ by inviting exForm 6 students with excellent results to share their success stories with current sixth formers.
The forum was aimed at providing exposure to students about study techniques and smart time management.
Among the invited ex-students was Liu Zi Sheng who is studying Civil Engineering at Universiti Malaysia Sarawak (Unimas).
On the secret of his success, Liu said students should see teachers as a good source of knowledge whom they could consult when facing difficulty in studying.
He advised students to monitor their study time by removing negative behaviours such as daydreaming, procrastinating and being lazy.
Other ex- students who took part in the sharing session were Awang Shahrizman Rizwan, Ong Wei Fang and Nurul Ashikin Mohd Saifuddin.
SMK Muara Tuang principal Ahmat Daud Dulop thanked his former students for taking the time to contribute to the forum.
He hoped that the current sixth formers will study hard to achieve excellent results.
