Free entrance for FAM Cup quarter-final match
KUCHING: Fans and supporters of the Kuching Football Association are delighted to learn that they need not buy tickets to watch their team play against UKM FC in the quarterfinal mtach of the FAM Cup at Stadium Negeri, Petra Jaya di Stadium Negeri, Petra Jaya on Sept 19.
The good news was released by Kuching FA team manager Fazzrudin Abdul Rahman who urged local fans to fill up the stadium on that night to support their team.
“Fans do need to buy tickets to watch the first leg of the FAM Cup quarterfinals against UKM FC.
“Entrance is free and I hope the local fans will give their whole hearted support to the Kuching FA team,” he said.
Fazzrudin, who is Tupong assemblyman, said the strong support of the fans will be greatly appreciated.
He stressed that the strong support by the local fans would serve as a tonic for his team to secure the vital win and gain an advantage in the second leg of the quarterfinals.
“We must not only win the first leg but with a big margin in order for us a have a bigger goal advantage in the second leg that will be played at UKM Stadium in Bangi on Sept 26,” he added.
