Mastering English an added advantage for tertiary students, says university lecturer

KUCHING: Students who already master the English language will have added advantage in understanding their chosen courses, especially business administration.

According to university lecturer Tamoi Janggu, this is because most learning materials for these courses, particularly from the internet, are in English.

Tamoi, who is Sarawak Dayak Graduate Association ( SDGA) treasurer, shared this at a ‘Sepetang Bersama SDGA’ (An Evening with SDGA) programme at SMK St Luke in Sri Aman recently.

A total of 110 students attended the programme.

Tamoi impressed among the students that English is important in this borderless world of internet.
