SADONG JAYA: Grassroots leader should assist elected representatives in identifying people who need help to ensure that no needy people in their areas would be overlooked.

According to Minister in Prime Minister’s Department Datuk Seri Nancy Shukri, the cooperation between grassroots leaders in their efforts to identify these target groups would make it easier for the government to help them.

“It is important that the people who really need attention in this area can be identified and assisted accordingly,” she spoke at a ‘Leader Meets People’ event at Masjid Darul Iman here on Thursday.

Nancy, who is also Batang Sadong MP, wanted every grassroots leader to constantly update their list of target groups.

She pointed out that such list could facilitate the distribution of aid to the target population in a particular area.

Also present was Sadong Jaya assemblyman Aidel Lariwoo.
