‘Health the way to bet­ter ser­vice de­liv­ery’

MIRI: A healthy mind and body are cru­cial for ef­fi­ciency and ef­fec­tive­ness in ser­vice de­liv­ery, civil ser­vants were told.

Miri Res­i­dent She­rina Hus­saini gave this re­minder when ad­vis­ing around 150 civil ser­vants from var­i­ous de­part­ments and agen­cies join­ing the Zumba @ Merdeka pro­gram to adopt a healthy life­style.

“We will be more en­er­getic and think pos­i­tive though be­ing cheer­ful and self-con­fi­dent.

“We must em­pha­sise per­sonal health to re­main healthy and pro­duc­tive all the time.”

The pro­gramme held at Miri Is­lamic Com­plex was or­gan­ised by the In­for­ma­tion Depart­ment as

part of cel­e­bra­tion for the na­tional month.

In line with the cel­e­bra­tory theme ‘Ne­garaku Se­hati Se­jiwa’ (My Coun­try One Heart One Soul), She­rina called upon civil ser­vants to unite and fos­ter un­der­stand­ing among the state and fed­eral depart­ment and agen­cies.
