MK Cur­tain launches first branch in East Malaysia

KUCHING: MK Cur­tain opened its first branch in East Malaysia at Emart Batu Kawa yes­ter­day.

It is the 20th branch in Malaysia since MK Cur­tain was es­tab­lished in 2005, the other 19 branches are lo­cated in Penin­su­lar Malaysia in­clud­ing in Klang Val­ley, Batu Pa­hat and Ni­lai.

“We have a wide ar­ray of cur­tains that are very af­ford­able. We also pro­vide var­i­ous ser­vices such as de­sign­ing the cur­tains and the work­man­ship,” said MK Cur­tain Ber­had man­ag­ing di­rec­tor Datin Moon Sze Fui at the open­ing cer­e­mony.

She adds that MK Cur­tain is aim­ing to be a one-stop ser­vice out­let for con­sumers to im­prove the am­bi­ence of their homes or of­fice by pro­vid­ing a wide ar­ray of cur­tain de­signs and colours.

The branch also of­fers cus­tomers a var­ied se­lec­tion of pil­lows for the liv­ing room and bed­room.

Ac­cord­ing to a state­ment from MK Cur­tain Ber­had, they chose Emart Batu Kawa as it is one of the most popular and fast grow­ing shop­ping malls in Kuching.

After Batu Kawa, MK Cur­tain Ber­had will spread its wings to Bin­tulu and Miri be­fore mak­ing its way to Sabah.

Also present at the open­ing cer­e­mony yes­ter­day were coun­cil­lor from Padawan Mu­nic­i­pal Coun­cil (MPP), Wifred Yap rep­re­sent­ing Batu Ki­tang as­sem­bly­man Lo Khere Chi­ang; po­lit­i­cal sec­re­tary to the chief min­is­ter Tan Kai, MK Cur­tain Ber­had chair­man Dato Calvin Khiu Fu Siang, MK Cur­tain Batu Kawa part­ner Ni­cole Chin and Mary Teoh Sweet Gaik, and Emart Group of Com­pa­nies man­ag­ing di­rec­tor Ngu Ting Sii.
