SUPP Senadin donates chairs to Tudan polyclinic
MIRI: Sarawak United People Party (SUPP) Senadin branch recently donated some 80 chairs to Tudan polyclinic here.
Assistant Minister of Tourism, Arts and Culture Datuk Lee Kim Shin presented the chairs to Family Medical Expert Dr. Maurice Steve Utap during his visit to the clinic.
Lee who is also Senadin assemblyman and chairman of the health panel committee for the Tudan polyclinic said the new steel chairs would provide comfortable seats to members of the public while waiting for their turn for medical services at the clinic.
The new chairs were to replace the mostly broken plastic chairs in the clinic.
The party had also donated ten units of wheelchair to the clinic to facilitate the mobility of patients such as pregnant women, senior citizens and people with disabilities (OKU).
He said feedback from the people to the clinic panel committee is vital to improve the services as well as to create a comfortable situation in the clinic.
