Mass blood do­na­tion to mark Malaysia Day

SIBU: Lo­cals re­sponded over­whelm­ingly to the Mass Blood Do­na­tion Cam­paign or­gan­ised by Ke­lab KTS and held at the Or­ange Zone of Star Mega Mall yes­ter­day.The cam­paign was held from 9am-2pm.

Ac­cord­ing to Ke­lab KTS chair­man Benny Lau, the an­nual event was held in con­junc­tion with ‘Malaysia Day’.

“Blood means so much to those in need of it dur­ing emer­gen­cies so we hope this Mass Blood Do­na­tion Cam­paign can con­trib­ute ad­e­quately to Sibu Hos­pi­tal Blood Bank,” he told re­porters at the cam­paign.

It was of­fi­ci­ated by Kelvin Lau rep­re­sent­ing deputy man­ag­ing di­rec­tor of KTS Group, Te­meng­gong Datuk Vin­cent Lau.

Star Mega Mall CEO Lau Yew Chung and sales man­ager of Yeo Hiap Seng (Malaysia) Ber­had Sibu, Michael Lee were also present.
