For­est City Golf Ho­tel com­ing up soon

JO­HOR: For­est City Golf Ho­tel, de­vel­oped and built by Coun­try Gar­den Paci­ficview Sdn Bhd (CGPV), is ex­pected to be com­pleted by the first half of next year.

It is part of a world- class golf re­sort and ho­tel that will have three golf cour­ses at Ge­lang Patah Iskan­dar Jo­hor.

Built at a to­tal cost of RM1.8 bil­lion, the 5star ho­tel is not only a scenic golf re­sort but also fea­tures a mix­ture of r e sident i a l un i t s compr i sing apart­ments and vil­las.

CGPV ex­ec­u­tive di­rec­tor Datuk Md Oth­man Yu­sof said be­sides at­tract­ing tourists and golfers, the de­vel­op­ment will also pro­vide job op­por­tu­ni­ties to lo­cals.

num­ber of 85 staff at the ho­tel and the first golf course, of which 100 per cent are lo­cals. More will be em­ployed when the ho­tel is com­pleted,” he said in a press re­lease yes­ter­day.

When fully com­pleted, the first phase of the low- den­sity res­i­den­tial units is ex­pected to have 1,300 res­i­dents.

The landed prop­er­ties are ex­pected to be com­pleted by Oc­to­ber 2019 and com­prise dou­ble­storey and three- storey clus­ter homes as well as semi- detached units with sizes rang­ing from 2,034 square feet to 6,975 square feet.

The prop­er­ties, pegged from RM1.38 mil­lion, are built near a nat­u­ral wa­ter fea­ture which cuts across the golf course.

Un­der the first phase, CGPV will un­veil 202 vil­las with mod­ern-style roofs and a com­bi­na­tion of de­sign el­e­ments from across Europe.

The res­i­den­tial en­clave will cater to golf afi­ciona­dos from here and across the Cause­way, as well as in­ter­na­tional house buy­ers.

The 5- star ho­tel will com­prise 305 rooms rang­ing in size from 45 square me­tres to 323 square me­tres.

There will be two tow­ers of ho­tel rooms, each 11 floors high, with a ball­room that can cater to 400 guests, a free-form swim­ming pool and kids’ pool.

The ho­tel, which is tar­get­ing guests from Malaysia, China, Sin­ga­pore and Korea, among oth­ers, also fea­tures a restau­rant that will serve in­ter­na­tional and lo­cal cuisines.

CGPV is also build­ing a 9.6km con­nect­ing road from For­est City to en­sure easy ac­ces­si­bil­ity to the ho­tel and golf re­sort, which is ex­pected to be ready by 2019.
