Ed­u­ca­tion of­fice holds In­te­grated Uni­formed Bod­ies Camp 2017 for SK Tatau

BIN­TULU: An­dreas Akira Al­bert and Fran­cisca Laura Am­bai Mingu won the best male and fe­male par­tic­i­pant awards dur­ing SK Tatau 9th In­te­grated Uni­formed Bod­ies Camp 2017.

About 200 pupils of SK Tatau took part in the three- day camp from Novem­ber 9 to 11.

The awards were pre­sented by Tatau Fire and Res­cue Depart­ment sta­tion chief Nazari Harun dur­ing the clos­ing cer­e­mony re­cently at the school hall.

Also present were SK Tatau head­mas­ter Janudin Ab Rah­man, Se­bauh Scout com­mis­sioner Awangku Jaya Pen­gi­ran Rosli, SK Tatau Cur­ricu­lum se­nior as­sis­tant Sam­bang Tu­mas, SK Tatau Uni­formed Unit co­or­di­na­tor Sai­ful Rid­wan Mohd and other se­nior teach­ers.

Janudin said var­i­ous ac­tiv­i­ties were car­ried out such as jun­gle cook­ing, march­ing, craft camp, cul­tural night and oth­ers.

Nazari hoped the pro­gramme could be or­gan­ised an­nu­ally by Tatau Ed­u­ca­tion Of­fice in the ef­fort to pro­duce high qual­ity hu­man cap­i­tal.

“We must try to ex­cel in ev­ery­thing we do. How­ever with­out knowl­edge and good at­ti­tude we might not not suc­ceed. “I hope the pupils have learnt new good things in the­ory and in prac­ti­cal from this camp,” he said.

Fran­cisca re­ceives a tro­phy and a cer­tifi­cate from Nazari.
