BINTULU: Andreas Akira Albert and Francisca Laura Ambai Mingu won the best male and female participant awards during SK Tatau 9th Integrated Uniformed Bodies Camp 2017.
About 200 pupils of SK Tatau took part in the three- day camp from November 9 to 11.
The awards were presented by Tatau Fire and Rescue Department station chief Nazari Harun during the closing ceremony recently at the school hall.
Also present were SK Tatau headmaster Janudin Ab Rahman, Sebauh Scout commissioner Awangku Jaya Pengiran Rosli, SK Tatau Curriculum senior assistant Sambang Tumas, SK Tatau Uniformed Unit coordinator Saiful Ridwan Mohd and other senior teachers.
Janudin said various activities were carried out such as jungle cooking, marching, craft camp, cultural night and others.
Nazari hoped the programme could be organised annually by Tatau Education Office in the effort to produce high quality human capital.
“We must try to excel in everything we do. However without knowledge and good attitude we might not not succeed. “I hope the pupils have learnt new good things in theory and in practical from this camp,” he said.
