Body of drowned Indian national found at Nanga Tulit
KAPIT: The body of an Indian national, who fell from the Arang Batu jetty at Nanga Tulit on Tuesday, was recovered by rescuers yesterday.
The body of the 21-year- old, identified only as Sunny, was found at the waterfront at Temalat, Song – some 50 kilometres from where the mishap occurred.
A statement from the Fire and Rescue Department ( Bomba) said the body arrived here at 2.10pm and was immediately sent to Kapit Hospital for a postmortem.
It was reported that the victim had been untying a barge from its mooring when he lost his balance and fell from the jetty into the Rajang River.
