SK Tatau, SMK Tatau named TS25 pi­o­neer schools

TATAU: SK Tatau and SMK Tatau have been named as pi­o­neer schools for Trans­for­masi Seko­lah 2025 ( TS25) for this dis­trict. TS25 is a pro­gramme un­der the Ed­u­ca­tion Min­istry.

Head­mas­ter of SK Tatau Janudin Abd Rah­man said the pro­gramme is car­ried out based on ef­fec­tive lead­er­ship, qual­ity teach­ers and the par­tic­i­pa­tion of the lo­cal com­mu­nity in­clud­ing par­ents, heads of de­part­ments and lo­cal com­mu­nity lead­ers.

“The Tatau Ed­u­ca­tion of­fice will be our part­ner to su­per­vise the pro­gramme,” Janudin said dur­ing the Teacher’s Day cel­e­bra­tion at the school yes­ter­day.

Tatau as­sis­tant ed­u­ca­tion of­fi­cer Mohd Nor Ab­dul­lah of­fi­ci­ated at the event.

Janudin said the of­fi­cial launch of TS25 pro­gramme for Tatau Dis­trict would be held soon, and called for fi­nan­cial sup­port from the cor­po­rate sec­tor and elected rep­re­sen­ta­tives to as­sist them.

Ten re­tirees from the school were also re­mem­bered dur­ing the event.

Mohd Nor, mean­while thanked SK Tatau for or­gan­is­ing the mean­ing­ful event and also the teach­ers for their good work.

“Teach­ers are the front-lin­ers who de­ter­mine the fu­ture di­rec­tion of our stu­dents.”

Ear­lier, the Tatau Districtlevel Teacher’s Day cel­e­bra­tion was held at SK Kelawit, and was of­fi­ci­ated at by Mohd Nor, who said he was im­pressed by the spirit of team­work shown by schools in the dis­trict.

He also urged teach­ers to con­tinue giv­ing their best to pro­duce the best hu­man cap­i­tal for the state.

Tatau traf­fic police chief Insp Muham­mad Farid Remeli, Tatau Head­mas­ters Coun­cil chair­man Tony Madup, Tatau Fire and Res­cue Depart­ment chief Nazari Harun, SK Tatau Par­ent­Teacher As­so­ci­a­tion com­mit­tee mem­ber El­iz­a­beth Mu­nai, Penghulu Lim Tchia Hong, SMK Tatau prin­ci­pal Peter Use Len­jau and SK Kelawit head­mas­ter Ham­dana Osman were also present at the event.
