Skuad Kasih Sayang Plus pre­sents Ra­madan aid

DALAT: Skuad Kasih Sayang Plus pre­sented Ra­madan aid of RM100 and a ham­per worth RM30 each to 30 needy in­di­vid­u­als from Kam­pung Se­nau in Oya yes­ter­day.

Min­is­ter of Wel­fare, Com­mu­nity Well Be­ing, Women, Fam­ily and Child­hood De­vel­op­ment Dato Sri Fatimah Ab­dul­lah said the con­tri­bu­tion was part of the squad’s Ra­madan Vis­its Pro­gramme held in col­lab­o­ra­tion with the Kam­pung Se­nau Mosque Youth Friends.

“The pro­gramme is spe­cially planned for the holy month of Ra­madan.

“A to­tal of 340 peo­ple from Dalat Dis­trict will re­ceive the aid to­talling RM44,200 to be given out in stages,” she said dur­ing the sim­ple pre­sen­ta­tion cer­e­mony, adding the vil­lage com­mit­tee se­lected the re­cip­i­ents.

Fatimah said the pro­gramme will be car­ried out in other vil­lages in the area through­out this month.

She also pre­sented RM2,000 in aid from the Dalat Ser­vice Cen­tre to a mosque and RM1,000 each to two suraus.

The con­tri­bu­tion is to help the mosque and suraus hold ac­tiv­i­ties through­out the fast­ing month for the ben­e­fit of the lo­cal com­mu­nity in­clud­ing youths.
