IWF, a statement issued through its official website on Tuesday, disclosed that the three national athletes found to have taken the prohibited drug were Muhamad Hakimie Haikal Nordin, Muhamad Zaidi Mohd Nordin and Ronny Jesos.

“They are all male athletes and only one of them is a senior athlete,” he told reporters at a special media conference at the Malaysia Organising Committee ( Masoc) of Kuala Lumpur 2017 office, Bukit Jalil here yesterday.

Realising that the federation might face suspension by IWF following the rising number of doping cases, Abu Hanapah said PABM would conduct an internal investigation after obtaining information from the hearing of the three athletes’ case.
