I had al­ways been cu­ri­ous about how lux­ury res­i­dences work, par­tic­u­larly within the ho­tel sec­tor. So, af­ter my stud­ies in busi­ness ad­min­is­tra­tion in Ger­many, with ex­pe­ri­ence in cor­po­rate bank­ing, and earn­ing an MBA from the Ecôle Hotelière de Lau­sanne in Switzer­land, I ap­plied to join Kempin­ski’s de­vel­op­ment team. What is a typ­i­cal day at the of­fice like for you? We don’t have typ­i­cal days or even a nor­mal of­fice. In­stead, we pre­fer to be ‘on the floor’.
