The Peak (Malaysia) - - World Watch -

The European Central Bank has increased its forecasts for economic growth in the Eurozone to 1.9 per cent as compared to its forecast in March of 1.8 per cent. The ECB also increased its growth projection for 2018 from 1.7 per cent to 1.8 per cent, and from 1.6 per cent to 1.7 per cent for 2019. According to ECB president, Mario Draghi, it is “now confident that inflation will converge with our objectives” and that the “risks surrounding the euro area growth outlook are considered to be broadly balanced.”
