As the main gate­way be­tween the rest of the world and ASEAN, Sin­ga­pore has built an in­ter­na­tional rep­u­ta­tion for it­self for the best in busi­ness and leisure, and the two col­lide in a city that hosts a ma or re­gional nan­cial cen­tre set against an iconic sky­line.

The MICE tourism seg­ment is thriv­ing in Sin­ga­pore as the city-state proves to be an at­trac­tive lo­ca­tion for busi­ness events and con­fer­ences. It’s an award-win­ning des­ti­na­tion, claim­ing such ac­co­lades like the Best BTMICE City for the sixth year in a row at the TTG Travel Awards 2017, as well as the top APAC meet­ing city by the Union of In­ter­na­tional As­so­ci­a­tions in 2016. Im­pres­sively, the num­ber of BTMICE vis­i­tor ar­rivals in 2014 hit 3.2 mil­lion bring­ing with it an es­ti­mated ex­pen­di­ture of SGD5.2 mil­lion.
