“It makes me extremely grateful, blessed and humble that I am where I am right now, in my career and in my life.”
When asked why New York is the perfect place for a story like this, Rasuk replies: “New York, in my mind, is the best city in the world! I think the show is not only appealing because of the majestical idea that everybody has about New York. But it helps the show because shooting in New York itself – the background, the people, the building, everything else about it, the energy – is a whole different character, besides the characters you see in front of the camera.
“I feel just being in New York brings a lot more to the show. It has a lot to do with the mixed cultures and the different neighbourhoods and, of course, the people, too. These are what make New York a cool place.”
