THE melo­di­ous en­vi­ron­men­tal­in­spired tunes by Malaysia’s top lo­cal mu­si­cians, tal­ents and celebri­ties plan to en­tice lis­ten­ers back to na­ture as Red FM en­ter­tains you with ex­cit­ing games and ac­tiv­i­ties at the Power Down Mu­sic Fest.

The bare min­i­mum en­ergy will be used and vis­i­tors will be re­quired to bring their own can­dles, lamp or torch light for the con­cert at the Fac­ulty of Eco­nom­ics & Ad­min­is­tra­tion, Uni­ver­sity Malaya, Kuala Lumpur, this Satur­day from 7pm to 11pm.

It is aimed at en­cour­ag­ing lis­ten­ers to switch to a “greener” liv­ing while be­ing en­ter­tained by Eco Drum Cir­cle, Tree The­atre Group, Rollin Six­ers, Ra­man the Nose Flautist, Aizat Am­dan, Wakaka Group and other tal­ented acts. Ad­mis­sion to the con­cert is free.

Or­gan­ised by The Star and mS­tar in con­junc­tion with the Eco Film Fest, Power Down Mu­sic Fest will be co-hosted by Jeremy from Red FM’s Evenings (Mon­days to Fri­days, 7pm10pm).

A pas­sion­ate be­liever in en­vi­ron­men­tal causes, Jeremy has ac­tively par­tic­i­pated in fund-rais­ing ef­forts for con­ser­va­tion pro­grammes.

Jeremy says: “It’s go­ing be an awe­some night. Power Down Mu­sic Fest will in­dulge you with amaz­ing per­for­mances. Hop on­board with us and be part of this green cam­paign.

“It’s time to stop pol­lut­ing the world and start pro­tect­ing it by be­ing en­vi­ron­men­tally- con­scious.

As this earth-friendly cam­paign is in its fi­nal week­end, don’t miss the op­por­tu­nity to be part of the green move­ment.
