Fool your friends with this piece of costume jewellery.
You need: 5 sheets A4 magazine pages 2 satin cords – 2 colours; each 1m long 1 pair necklace clasps Disposable chopstick Scissors Pliers Hammer PVA glue Toothpick Craft varnish Brush T a glance, you might think this necklace is made of silk cords and fabric. The discs are paper coiled up tightly into a ring and varnished. Two cords are threaded into the holes of each disc, on opposite sides. They are then twisted together on both sides of the necklace using a technique that will keep them in position when you have finished clamping the ends down.
If you do not twist the two cords as instructed before crossing them, they will unravel and straighten after you have secured them at the end. Try it out to see what I mean!
