RENOWNED front­man of Krautrock pi­o­neers Can, Damo Suzuki, 60, will per­form live at An­nexe Gallery, Cen­tral Mar­ket, Kuala Lumpur, on Nov 27.

Damo Suzuki’s Net­work is a project that will bring to­gether Suzuki on vo­cals and a su­pergroup made up of some of KL’s most ex­u­ber­ant un­der­ground mu­si­cal ad­ven­tur­ers. They in­clude mem­bers of The Abang Guard, Ci­plak, EMACM and Fur­ni­ture com­pris­ing Ab­dul Aziz, Azmyl Yunor, Bul­let, Goh Lee Kwang, Joe Kidd, Ron­nie Khoo and Yong Yand­sen.

Lost Tapes is a spe­cial show­case of the best hid­den tal­ent in KL, bring­ing an eclec­tic mix of sounds – from dream pop to synth pop, from No Wave to Krautrock, from rock ‘n’ roll to punk to post punk, from post rock to in­stru­men­tal and be­yond.

This Satur­day’s edi­tion also fea­tures Jona (Aus­tralia) and Bro­ken Hearts Club on the dee­jay decks along­side po­etry recitals and an open for­mat freeform vis­ual artshow by HKPT. Writ­ten by Redza Min­hat, Adi­wi­jaya and Ayam Fared, the play is di­vided into three zom­bie sto­ries which are in­ter­re­lated and will be di­rected by Me­gat Sharizal, Yus­man Mokhtar and Ayam Fared.

It fea­tures a colour­ful lo­cal cast such as Redza Min­hat, Sandee Chew, Ashraf Zain and Shamaine Oth­man.

The story is about the first zom­bie at­tack in the coun­try and the au­di­ence will be en­ter­tained by look­ing at it from the per­spec­tive of the zom­bies or hu­man be­ings.

On Nov 26, there is Zombi Meny­erang klpac! (Zom­bies At­tack KLPac) and those at­tend­ing the event dressed as zom­bies will be el­i­gi­ble for a dis­count. English sub­ti­tles will be pro­jected.

Seran­gan Zombi Per­tama Di Malaysia will be staged at Pen­tas 2, KLPac: Nov 24 to 26 at 8.30pm, and Nov 27 and 28 at 3pm. Tick­ets are priced at RM35, and RM23 for stu­dents and the dis­abled.
